To our valued U.S.A. and International Customers:

In this uncertain time, the health and well-being of our customers, employees, and our community is at the top of our priority list as we continue to monitor the potential spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Enolgas production is in full operation and will remain so as long as there are no major disruptions in inventory from our suppliers. We are working with our vendors to ensure supply channels stay open, and we will do everything in our power to minimize the effects of this unprecedented situation. We have implemented smart working in which employees will work from home due to the current pandemic.  There will be limited representation at our warehouse.  All site visits and installations have been stopped until the danger of the virus has been removed.  We have implemented all of the best practices, including social distancing.

We will continue to update you as new information becomes available. We also want to be open and transparent with all of our current and prospective customers regarding any future developments, so again, we’ll continue to pass along any and all updates as they transpire.

I am highly suggesting that our customers take a proactive step towards reviewing production forecasts, and place pre-emptive purchase orders, as overall lead times are largely expanding and extremely unpredictable.

At this time, all international and non-essential travel has been suspended for all Enolgas employees, and this will remain in-effect until authorities from the CDC begin to allow regular travel again.

Our manufacturing facility has implemented increased cleaning and janitorial cycles to reduce the potential spread of viruses to our employees and their families.

Where possible, operators have been placed at separated distances recommended by the CDC and have been advised not to report to work if they feel even slightly ill.

I am happy to report that the health of our staff is excellent; currently, there has been no employee reporting out for any type of illness.

Additionally, we are encouraging our employees, suppliers, and customers to utilize technology whenever possible, to avoid human interactions. In other words, phone conferences and online meetings will be the preferred method until the current circumstances change.

As stated above, we will continue to update you as the situation in the U.S. and Italy evolves. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as we continue working hard at keeping our facility fully operational and supportive of your manufacturing needs.

COVID-19 http://BLOGENOLGASUSA.COM/2020/03/28/covid-19-2/ http://BLOGENOLGASUSA.COM/2020/03/28/covid-19-2/#respond Sat, 28 Mar 2020 13:33:38 +0000 http://BLOGENOLGASUSA.COM/?p=255 EnolgasUSACovid-19

The feature of the Coronavirus:

1, If you have a runny nose and sputum, you have a common cold, Coronavirus pneumonia is a dry cough with no runny nose.

2, This new virus isn’t heat-resistant and will be killed by a temperature of just 81 degrees F (27 degrees C), it hates the sun.

3, On fabric it can survive for 6-12 hours, normal laundry detergent will kill it.

4, Drinking warm water is effective for all viruses, try not to drink liquid with ice.

The Symptoms:

1, It will first infect the throat, so you’ll have a sore throat lasting 3/4 days.

2, The virus then blends into a nasal fluid that enters the trachea and then the lungs, causing pneumonia, this takes about 5-6 days further.

3, With pneumonia, comes high fever and difficulty in breathing.

4, The nasal congestion is not like the normal kind. You feel like you’re drowning.

How can one self-check if he/she is infected?

By the time they have a fever and/or cough and go to the hospital, the lung is usually 50% fibrosis and it’s too late. Experts provide a simple self-check that we can do every morning. Take a deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If you complete it successfully without coughing, without discomfort, stiffness or tightness, etc. It proves there is no Fibrosis in the lungs, basically indicated no infection.

How did we do before:

1, Take a few sips of water every 15 minutes at least, even if the virus gets into your mouth, drinking water or other liquids will wash them down through your throat and into the stomach. Once there, your stomach acid will kill all the virus, otherwise, the virus can enter your windpipe and into the lungs.

2, All workers (yes, all) wear a mask during the whole day, and the manager will do random checks. If you stay in one office by yourself, no need, and keep air clean is enough.

3, There is Hand Cleansing Gel in every workshop, as well as office,

4, Before work every morning, we will check all worker’s body temperature, 100%, and send one to a hospital if any guy gets fever beyond 98.6 degrees F (37 degrees C).

5, Canceled all meetings if attendance beyond 2 people.
